Our Projects

Period Dignity

Menstrual health and hygiene for women and girls.

Overview

About This Program

Menstrual hygiene is an important part of women's health and dignity.

Yet many women and girls living in underserved communities face difficulties accessing sanitary products and reliable hygiene information.

UHAA Foundation supports the distribution of sanitary pads in slum communities, in collaboration with Praviddha Foundation and Think Good Foundation.

The initiative combines access to sanitary products with awareness around menstrual hygiene and personal care.

Our Focus

  • Distribution of sanitary pads
  • Menstrual hygiene awareness
  • Encouraging open conversations about menstrual health
  • Supporting women and girls with dignity
  • Community-level awareness
Our Belief

Menstrual hygiene is not a luxury. It is a matter of health, dignity and basic wellbeing.
